Uno Hospital (Uno Medical Care Group) supports a wide range of medical care.

Uno Hospital is a general hospital that handles everything from outpatient care to inpatient care. We advocate gastroenterology, diabetes internal medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and provide outpatient treatment in various highly specialized fields, as well as a wide range of inpatient treatment from the acute phase to the convalescent phase and the chronic phase. There are more than 300 staff members working, some of whom come to Japan from overseas under the EPA (Economic Partnership Agreement) to work.

In addition, the hospital has a health examination facility, which provides services in collaboration with the hospital for secondary examinations and treatment after the health examination, and has a system in place to enable early detection and treatment.

The medical corporation Uno Medical Care Group, which operates Uno Hospital, operates the Long-Term Care Health Facility in addition to the hospital. Each facility of the group cooperates to provide high-quality comprehensive medical and long-term care services seamlessly, from medical care to rehabilitation and long-term care.

Uno Hospital is in the middle of Japan

Uno Hospital is located in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, in the Chubu region of Japan. It is an international location with convenient access to overseas, near Chubu Centrair International Airport. There are companies representing Japan such as Toyota Motors, Mitsubishi Motors, and Sony in the neighborhood, and the automobile and precision machinery industries are particularly active. It is also close to the big city of Nagoya, making it convenient for traveling to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, etc. Gifu and Nagano prefectures are close to the north, and the mountains at an altitude of 3000m rise, and there are many sightseeing spots which are rich in nature such as ski resorts and hot springs. The south is close to the sea, and you can enjoy sea bathing and marine sports. It is a good location for both living and sightseeing.

It is about a 5-minute walk from Uno Hospital to the nearest station (Meitetsu: Okazaki Koen-mae). 

Okazaki City, where Uno Hospital is located, is a wonderful city

Okazaki City is a core city with a population of over 380,000. Okazaki is a historic city, and there is Okazaki Castle where Ieyasu Tokugawa (He was the first shogun who established the Edo Shogunate in 1603 AD.) was born and raised near Uno Hospital. Okazaki City has prospered as a castle town centered on Okazaki Castle, and is a safe city. Currently, Okazaki Castle is a park, and various events are held every season. Otogawa flows by the park, and many cherry blossoms are planted along the river. A cherry blossom festival is held in the spring and a fireworks display is held in the summer. It is a very lively festival with many food stalls lined up. Near Uno Hospital, there is also an old-fashioned factory that makes Hatcho Miso, a specialty of Okazaki. It is also a lively city with large shopping malls.

By using the EPA, overseas people can also work at our hospital or the Group's Long-Term Care Health Facility. Currently, 13 people from the Philippines are working at our hospital. At the Long-Term Care Health Facility, 10 people from the Philippines, 10 people from Vietnam, and 6 people from Indonesia are working, and reliable seniors support newcomers, so can work with peace of mind.

In terms of life other than work, the hospital prepares housing and household goods necessary for living, so there is no need to worry about living. The residence is located a few minutes from the hospital, and there are convenience stores and large supermarkets in the vicinity, so it is an environment where you can work with peace of mind and study hard even in Japan.
